I don't think anything of any significant size is going to fit through the spiral staircase, so we'll probably have to figure out a way to hoist stuff up over the banister into the loft. We may have to try to rent one of those little mobile elevator things that they use to move things in through windows in old apartment buildings. We're really just planning to put a futon, some shelves, and maybe a desk up there, so of course that stuff can be disassembled. Still... may be a bit tricky. Let me know if you have any ideas! One thing I want to do is put high bookshelves in the loft (the back wall there is 11 1/2 feet high). These seem to be sort of hard to find. If you know of any libraries that are replacing their stacks, please let me know. It might even be worth it if they had to be shipped halfway across the country.<BR/><BR/>We're closing on the 4th of April, so we'll start moving in gradually over the rest of the month.<BR/><BR/>I was just looking at your blog... glad your trip to the ER turned out to be nothing serious.
